What is scaffolding?
Scaffolding is a temporary support structure used when constructing buildings, bridges or other complex structures. It provides the necessary support for workers and materials during construction, as well as providing access to hard-to-reach areas.
Do I need scaffolding?
Scaffolding allows safe access to difficult areas on your property/buildings. Depending on the size and nature of your projects, scaffolding can significantly speed up your projects – especially with new builds and exterior renovations if your building is taller than 1 storey. How long does scaffolding take to set up?
The time it takes to set up scaffolding depends on the complexity of the structure. A simple scaffold may only take a few hours, while more complex structures could take days to complete. We can provide you with a more accurate estimate once we know the details of your project.
What safety considerations should I keep in mind when using scaffolding?

What to consider when hiring scaffolders for your project?
Most importantly, you want to make sure that the person erecting the scaffolding is knowledgeable and NZ-qualified for the job.
Unfortunately, we have seen some clients spend a fortune fixing damage from previous, unprofessional scaffolding contractors.
Ensure contractors aren’t tieing any scaffold components to your property (such as verandas and balconies) or walking on your roof straight after a new roof replacement as one scratch/dent can lead to rust – especially if you are near the sea.
